Apparently, it only takes one Lady to get everyone to stop talking about Galliano for five seconds. Last night, Lady Gaga made her debut appearance on the catwalk in Mugler’s AW11 collection to mixed reactions. Nicola Formichetti’s collection was an amalgamation of see-through knits, latex trousers, peaked shoulders, sheer inserts and most notably football player-like pads. While there are elements of wearability (I particularly love the bra-lets) I feel as though this entire collection was made with no other but the Lady in mind. In which case she has, very fittingly, bought the entire collection in every colour.
I do have to admit, though, Lady Gaga definitely brought the fierce with a capital F by going monk thus winning the “walk off” challenge. Very, very entertaining!
