Castaway

I think I’ve said it a million times before but the one thing I love about blogging is stumbling across new blogs. When this happens I just feel so inspired that there are incredible people out there who are just doing their “thang”. I came across this beautiful campaign via Spell & The Gypsy Collective, which has sent my heart into a flutter. Not only do I love the jewellery I’m all over the kimonos. Also, I think that the photographer has done an incredible job with embodying the whimsical atmosphere and capturing the essence of the beautiful surroundings. Very inspiring.

PS I believe that this was shot at my favourite place in the entire world, Byron Bay.

Prabal Gurung Fall 2011 Exclusive

What was one of my favourite shows from Fall 2011, Prabal Gurung’s moody campaign is hauntingly beautiful. These exclusive images from Fashionology will never see the light of day but rather serve as a reminder as to the fluidity of the garments and reignite the passion we all felt when we first saw his collection, all those months ago.

Gucci Fall 2011 Campaign

Stemming from what was my favourite show from the season, Gucci have followed up their incredible collection with an equally incredible (and very moody) Fall 2011 ad campaign, featuring the gorgeous Abbey-Lee Kershaw.

Blake Lively for Chanel

I first blogged about Blake Lively becoming the face of Chanel's Mademoiselle handbags here in which the first look from the campaign has been released today. The image was shot by the man himself, Karl Lagerfeld (lucky girl) in which it has a more moodier quality compared to the last, more playful campaign featuring Lily Allen in black and white.

Lusting over Lively

Blake Lively is absolutely everywhere, and I for one, am certainly not complaining. Gossip Girl is my number one guiltiest of the guilty pleasures. Even if the plot is a little far-fetched, the styling is amaze and makes me wish I was cruising the streets of the Upper East Side in my Nicholas Kirkwood’s and Celine bag. Just last month, Karl Lagerfeld made Blake Chanel’s latest ambassador for the Mademoiselle handbag line. The bags are Chanel's signature quilted design, with chain detail, and will come in finishes like jersey, cloth, calfskin, satin, lambskin, alligator and shagreen (I'll have one of each, thanks!). And it’s also rumoured that she’s going to play Carrie Bradshaw in the Sex and the City prequel, The Carrie Diaries. While I wasn’t the biggest fan of the second SATC movie I am excited to see more and more of beautiful Blake.
